Which game you prefer probably comes down to personal preferences more than anything else. I will try and list out some of the pros and cons of each. Thats one of the reasons there are so many arguments which are better.

I think it is worth it if you're open to the experience and will tolerate the trouble of getting it running and looking right, and then also open to a steeper learning curve, and spending some time.ĭ3 you'll be able to just hop right in. But right now, unless you're a diehard arpg fan and somehow haven't played d2 yet, I wouldn't pick up d2. I think that in the grand scheme of things d2 is a better game overall and also historically more significant.
